Purpose - to improve state and local health department practices to plan and implement public health programs, policies and system changes that will improve the health of the community.
The conference sessions take aways are to:
1) Increase awareness of factors that impact public health
2) Understand how the core concepts of public health build a strong public health infrastructure.
3) Develop skills to assist in the planning, implementation and evaluation of public health practices.
